I don't think management at this point can force the girls to interact or fake something, that's what caused the "problems" with Takamori in the first place. It was not genuine. That caused awkwardness.
What you're seeing now is the two girls excited they got to reconnect. Kiara was very lonely when she first got back home, but she eventually moved past it and found happiness. Mori was sad too, but dove into her work to distract from it (and she had all of JP in the same timezone), then by the time she began to feel guilt for not talking to Kiara more, she felt even more guilt like it was too late.
Them getting to hang out again and see that they're both fine, and both still do get along as friends, relieved their stresses. So now they feel comfortable trying again, and I hope they do succeed at talking somewhat regularly. Takamori is finally what it should have been since the start.

As for personal issues, that's entirely up to Mori and those she is interacting with to fix. No random feedback will help. You're not her counselor. She might read a story you post in chat or relate something she reads to her own life, but unsolicited life advice is weird.
Especially when there is no way any of us can know what they are thinking. When Mori and Kiara meet again, I'm confidant they will be happy and have fun. And I hope Mori keeps in contact so they don't drift apart again, so Kiara isn't just an "old friend" who makes Mori tear up over when remembering fond memories. That she is just a friend who can be mentioned and called, confided in, and mutually-supported. Reaper love, Phoenix love.

This is something pretty much everyone agrees on. Self-critiquing is good but beating yourself up for any kind of mistake (or even when there wasn't one) isn't fun to watch or good for one's self-esteem. Mori's making steps in improving that but still a long path ahead, one that takes a lifetime.
