Vshoujo probably threatened legal action (and presumably extra legalaction such as making him a pariah on social media via the cabal's whisper network) if he didn't accept their fake apologies and shut it all down. Truly the blackest of all companies.

It's still quite a good teachable moment when it comes to getting involved with corpos as an indie. They riffraff should've aware that corpos can crush them on a whim without even needing a good reason to. If anything, Vshoujo didn't just taint their own reputation, but rather the reputations of all vtubing companies by using their weight as a company to crush Nux into submission.

Heck, if I was a corpo, I'd probably be mighty pissed at Vshoujo on principle alone because of how bad a look it is for corporate vtubing. That's not to say Nux is a saint, but he's no worse than any other bottom feeding dramatuber. It's Vshoujo who as a vtubing company, are expected to adhere to a higher standard of professionalism. If they're not doing that and as a result it causes upheaval within the space where I'm trying to do business, well...thay'd just mean there'd be grounds for a conversation about how Vshoujo's ongoing existence may continue to suck all the air out of the room and be somewhat bad for business.
