That's not a hard thing to do. Saying "nuh uh" to anything takes no effort, and in fact I just did so. However it also convinces no one who has seen this and immediately sees the multiple signs of the resemblance, from eyebrows to hairstyle to hair lengths to usagi. Each one thing may be commonplace, but combine enough of them and you get a statistically unlikely coincidence. And you can notice the argument "there are other bunny girls like Pekora" already admits the similarity to Pekora (and just disagreeing on the uniqueness of it).

The crucial thing, however, is to generate interest in the game and make money. In that sense, the company may have already succeeded when people argue over it, even without being able to ask for a collab with Pekora.
