Having taken a crack at FFXIV and reading/learning more about why it was rebooted, i can safely say that it would be the most fucking boring thing to stream, sorry Ina. Basically the base game content was a speedrunned version of a game as they were actively developing it alongside the old version. Everything is really rough here, and the story is hilariously trite JRPG stuff. Half of the plot is blatantly ripped off from Star Wars, you spend most of the time doing random shit in the main quest and only interact with the BBEGs in a literal two dungeon speedrun where you kill all the bosses in seconds but spend 15 minutes in unskippable cutscenes
The main bad guy is a huge atheist redditor and the other bad guy is a literally WHO tier anime shadow man with a mask spouting cryptic bullshit and gets defeated by the power of light and friendship, inexplicably
