Yeah I thought flying mounts in the old world would be amazing, but then they changed the old world. Nobody asked for Darkshore to be fucked up. (Then later all of Teldrassil. Like, why?) The overworld we all wanted to fly through lost all of its soul in the process, then we had peel-the-plates-off-of-Deathwing for the only raid for like, a year.
I did get killed by Deathwing when he was randomly flying through the world while leveling an alt in East Plaguelands though. That was kinda funny.
