Ina has the cutest animal ears of all the chuubas!
When I figured out she was a 'squid girl', those ears reminded me of an anatomical drawing in a biology textbook I read as a child. Here's a photo from the American Museum of Natural History, that confirm, yep, some squids have 'ears'.
Her sideburns look like a squid mama's egg sacks that hang from the roof of an underwater cave. Squid mama will guard and care for the developing embryos without eating or resting.
To me, Ina's sideburns symbolize maternal devotion.
