back in march of 2019, a chinese mobile dating sim by the name of "Mr Love: Queen's Choice" got released in English, because it was so popular in CN/Taiwan. It's base VA included Bill Rogers, Joe Zieja, Benjamin Diskin, Sean Chiplock, and either a year or two later; Aleks Le at the time. It was one of, if not the most popular otome at the time (since themis wasn't released) due to including an option to have english VAs that loved interacting with their fans, nice art for the cards, an interesting story, and a supportive fanbase overall, even it felt too P2W at times. But for some reason, in May ~ June of 2021; Ben Diskin stepped down from his role as one of the popular boys, and was replaced with Jonah Scott instead. It was an unfortunate change at first, that quickly became a welcoming one thanks to how nice Jonah Scott sounded as the replacement. People got used to that for like a month at most, until he decided to tweet "Taiwan is a country" on June 4th, which invoked cn fans to get on his ass. He got fired bc the company didn't want to get in trouble with their government, the VAs (Aleks Le, Sean Chiplock, Joe Zieja) got pissy with the decision, and led the situation getting bigger than it should've gotten and you can guess what happened afterwards. the game isn't as big as it used to, and that motherfucker is to blame for it. so, if CN sisters start digging into Jonah Scott's history and thus, start shitting on Vox in the process; that's why. anyways vanta-chan love
