Exhausting threads today. How come idolfags feel like they're constantly under seige here? Is it really that bad to have a single bubble to ourselves?

One day it's "deadbeats", the next day it's doxfags using council, then the next day it's mass invasion/posting of general twitter/reddit crowds, and some days it's everything at once.

Is the concept of "cute girls doing cute things with other girls" really such a hard concept to uphold? Why does it offend people?

I don't want HoloEN2 to be some washed up youtube channel with 10 year old videos with 1m views.

I don't want HoloEN2 to be some overly passionate indie who's desperate to kickstart their music career.

I want holoEN2 to be a group of close friends, who are total nobodies, who find themselves and grow into virtual idols. You know, the actual fucking point of hololive.

Well, I think everyone here needs a wake-up call. Anyone here trying to normalize and rationalize these TT and Vshoujo collabs needs to realize what hololive is in the first place. Why it's different. Why a hololive general has literally 1500% the post speed of any other vtuber group. The "clubhouse" is real.

People saying a single collab "WILL KILL ALL OF HOLOLIVE" were obviously yab-baiting, and anyone with a head on their shoulders can figure that out. The precedent it places is the problem, and you don't even need to go anywhere to see the results, just look at the current and last thread, or take a look at the splits, which unfortunately have a greater impact here than you'd realize.

Are (You) ever going to change hololive as a whole, as a single person? Of course not. All (You) can do is keep up that clubhouse. Don't let people slowly ease you into thinking what "normal" is. I know many posters here are from when ENs debuted, despite all the tourism, if you think back to when they first started, and pre-meidowar, (You) know what normal is. You don't need to ever doubt enforcing that. No matter what people from outside try to tell you is "normal" you're the one in the clubhouse everyone else is jealous of, and there is nothing ever wrong with gatekeeping that.

If you want to just ignore this all, that's fine, but ask yourself only this then: Why are (You) here, posting, instead of some other vtuber group's general? Why is this one so massively more successful and populated? (You) don't need to answer, just think about it to yourself.

Seeing NijiEN be 2/3 bad calls, I'm starting to worry about HoloEN2 again, remembering my doomposting on /hlg/ back in the day...

I know cover's talent searching is good, but what if there simply isn't any good picks?

Just to kind of give a wake-up call to people who think EN is some unstoppable powerhouse over JP. They're not anymore.
