I was skimming the wiki and some quora answer and it still seems like there's a much more complex backstory to the current situation in the manga, but because the mangaka is a nationalist or something that means that everything in the manga is ackchyally just him advocating for fascism, which feels like such an oversimplification. For reference, here's the "tl;dr" of that quora answer:

But in the same answer he earlier pointed out how the "conspiracy" and oppression WAS real and they were literally treated as second class citizens and enslaved. He also says that in the manga Eren has omniscience or something that shows him that his approach is the correct one, but because it wouldn't be right IN REAL LIFE that means it's wrong for it to be right in the manga. It just feels like the mangaka was pulling obvious influence from several real world racial tensions and oppressive regimes and wars for supremacy, but these retards can only see the most surface level ones and immediately go OMG NAZIS and that's the end of their critical analysis.
