ah i see where you're coming from now, but willfully ignoring options that fall into a grey area for creativity i feel is a little silly since a lot of people do it just for fun, but i guess if anyone here made it big enough (they wont) they could run into issues from some company for using something they didnt have a commercial license for.

the method gael used can be used to make good ones, his design just wasnt good, koikatsu has been used to make all sorts of characters in all sorts of styles, including ones much more advanced than pic related
