when you join in on a stream with the intent of joining their fan community games you want to make sure to occasionally do 2x playback speed so your stream is pretty much synced up in real time. If you don't, you can lag behind the stream when it matters
This trick also helps when somebody premieres their videos like the Halloween asmr, those can usually shave off like 15-30 seconds off the wait time. This is also helpful when you want to sync multiple POV's in collabs
