So I had a small talk with my friend over LINE, it's quite interesting topic and sorry for little off topic. He is a foreigner(Asian) who work for the biggest government media outlet in Japan, specifically cultural program.
Vtuber especially Hololive actually caught attention of their upper management and for a good reason, Japanese government have been trying hard since 2018 to spread their culture, they put so much effort into Tokyo Olympic 2020 but Corona cucked them hard and hundred of billions yen loss still haunt them.
He said Hololive got attention because they thought it's one of Japanese big new phenomenon who captured people around the world and can be implemented via online or internet.
The biggest difference between them and other company is Hololive actually have strong foothold with foreigners than the other vtuber agencies like AI or 2*3* company which oesn't have this advantage and that's what matter for them the most.
This is actually big according to him because at least they got recognized from government themselves and got in cultural list department.

hololive isn't sustainable because talents get rich quick and basically stop depending on cover, which means they're free to leave basically any time. it puts the company at risk. i think, to fix hololive, we need to limit talent payouts to 5% of donations.
