Anya is the living dividing line that lays bare normalfags who arrogantly say things like, "We love you for who you really are! Do whatever you want and we'll watch!" and also 2views who say 'as long as you're in hololive they'll blindly follow you no matter what you do'.
And you know what, I think she's thoroughly aware of it but does it anyway. I might almost believe that she's mutually agreed with Cover to be their barometer into the foreign market to see how many people really walk the talk.
Anya is the furthest from GFE, Anya constantly speaks whatever language she wants whenever she feels like it, Anya streams for long hours, Anya plays shit she likes without caring about numbers or what people actually want to see, Anya doesn't pander to SCs or members. And in doing that while being in one of the most successful vtuber corporations, she cuts out any attempt at the excuse that "she just hasn't got lucky yet".
Anya shows anyone who cares to look how the well-meaning "if-onlys" directed at other chuubas are just ill-thought-out wishes by embodying all of them and showing things aren't as simple as that.

I mean, look, the nasfaq server obviously has a complete state of every player ongoing. The thing is, it doesn't currently have very severe time pressure to keep everything up to date. If I send a buy order and the server processes my coin change a second or two later, there's no problem.

The issue is that if you want the nasfaq server to handle autotrading then you're taking the distributed workload of a lot of machines right now - small, but essentially parallel workloads - and condensing it into one. Instead of checking 56 coins, now that microservice or whatever (you sure as hell aren't going to run it on the same processor as your main server) has to check whether (currently) 123k coins are off cooldown or not every single second, check whether, of those off cooldown, whether it is a buy/sell order or nothing, check the player's autotrader-side liquid balance and do some math to make sure they can actually make said automated orders, queue all the collected requests to the main server (if they're even using a message queue), and then deal with requests that failed for some reason ( e.g. coin prices changed so unable to purchase), then update autotrader-side liquid balance for all players who made a transaction. On the side, that process also has to receive changes from players looking to alter their planned orders.

And this whole process has to take less than a second a majority of the time.

On your own machine, if it takes more than a second to do this whole thing, it doesn't matter, it only affects you. From the server's perspective all that happened is you submitted one second later than expected. When together with others, what happened is "you" just bogged the orders of everyone else, and then processing their orders bogs others, and so on...
So that autotrader server is going to start lagging behind more and more until you wonder why you only sold a hundred coins in a day.

Maybe there's some better way to do it, but if I was the dev for that, wouldn't want to make any sort of time guarantees on it.

This is also probably why the dev probably suggested timed autotrader cycles. If it's timed you have ten minutes to do all this stuff instead of a single second, and if you make a change to your autotrader, too bad, it won't take effect until the next cycle.

The kris is not just a normal blade; it is a blade designed to inflict much more damage than a normal edged weapon of similar size.
The wavy edge serves much the same purpose as a serrated blade, offering more pressure to be applied and more cutting force.
The curves leave a much nastier entry wound, that is more difficult to sew shut and bleeds profusely.
When the kris encounters an obstacle like bone, instead of getting stuck in it like a normal blade, it deflects off it and continues going deeper.

But it is not simple to forge a superior kris. The bladesmith must fast, meditate and pray to prepare. The finest kris blades are forged by hand, without tools. The more prized pieces are composed of damascus steel.
Each kris is said to have its own soul.
To maintain their kris, the owner must regularly conduct a cleansing ceremony using holy water, incense and flowers. More mundanely, it is also obviously more difficult to sharpen a wavy blade.
While some blades are coated in perfume, others are coated in arsenic, so it is essential to treat the blade with respect, and take care when touching it.
