I don't think collabs subtract numbers from regular streams, rather those viewers will simply not be for the collabs but come back for the solo content, which might impact your average stream viewership but not the "effective" viewers that you might get for solo streams. Also count on the extra viewers you might get from those collabs, or about the event you could be making out of it. Races are fun and can be made into a big thing for example, while a chatting stream with another person will just be an ok thing for both fanbases involved.
Unless they're actual unicorns and HATE males, in which case lol.
