So far, it's what I said, he knows how to appeal well to the usual players and how our usual players love the appeal of grooming someone new, took the chance and did it. Their preferred time of posting "coincidentally" also matches the time the threads prefer to be active/most active, before and after playing mahjong matches, before our usual people sleep, etc.
There's also the way he names files instead of randomizing it, only very few does that, already obvious but he's also very obsessed with ogey rrat, though a lot of us are.

I can't say clearly where his time zone is at, since his posting time usually starts at 10:00 EST, and usually stops around 01:00 EST.

Comparing his mahjong play style with the usual players might work well. One cannot really change their style once they get good at the game or get accustomed to it.
