People love shitty games like this. It's a combination of being punishing while also being a good streamer game because people want to watch people suffer and then eventually succeed. It's purposely designed this way because there's an audience of people for it who can't get enough of it even though the gameplay is shit. I know I have shit taste in video games, but games like these are the definition of meme games.
