Y'know I dated an e-girl once, she wanted to be a vtuber but was just an ASMRtuber. Too dumb and broke to have a good enough rig to Live2D it.
Having been on the other side of this stuff, I dunno how to word it other than I did bad shit with her, by indulging in her desires to shit on her "simps" behind their backs, while we were e-fucking.
These girls don't like you, they don't respect you, at least most of them don't. I won't name names, but it's pretty clear when a chuuba is the exception to this, and there are a handful of 2/3views I've seen, who genuinely do care about their chat. Albeit instead of the chat, the chuuba is the more parasocial one in those cases.
But for the vast majority of them, they don't like you. They just see you as a means to acquire free shit, and outright laugh about taking advantage of your loneliness, without a shred of regret. It's part of why if I ever start streaming, I want to be as impersonal as possible and treat it like being the host of a show, focusing exclusively on entertaining them. ie "be frinedLY but not friendS with the audience"

Ame may have been a shit for saying it, and had obviously ulterior motives, but she was right in telling her detractors to "improve themselves" imo. If only because putting your happiness in the hands of someone who puts on a facade for a living, is always a recipe for disaster.
