Pekora's manager was nervous, but she knew she had to stand her ground this issue. "Yes, of course we asked you to think of a new 'event' stream, but we want to promote Bloom with it. Burning down Aqua's company building wouldn't do that at all!"
Pekora fiddled with her mic stand, looking at her manager like a tutor would look at a particularly slow student. "How could it promote Bloom? How could it not?! What better place for a flower to bloom than in the ashes of what once was? Look at my kouhai's 'redebut stream' as proof of that! Rebirth sure helped to lift Sui-chan's spirits after she got hit by Youtube again. And everyone loved it! If you want to get people excited for Bloom, then let Aqua have the show of a lifetime! From the ashes of her tragedy, a new Minato Aqua can bloom onstage, like the flower of life blooming from the ashes of war!"
Pekora's manager knew this side of her all too well. Whenever she beats a game, Pekora seems to let it influence her a little too much. It would seem like this time, she had got caught up in something that was too flowery in metaphor, and her brain has been on overdrive since, thinking of a pre-event for Bloom that would fit this style of thinking.
"It may go well for fan engagement, Usada, but did you forget that it would be AQUA you're using for this event? You're more likely to put her into a catatonic state if you go through with this!"
"Oh, you're exaggerating. Aqua is made of stronger stuff than that; how could a small thing like that hurt her when she's achieving her dreams?" Pekora smiled as she thought of her senpai's success, thinking of how happy she would feel on stage again, singing to a crowd of adoring fans. 'Aqua really deserves that," she thought, 'seeing her dreams come true will cheer her up for sure, even if a little fire breaks out in her HQ!'
At the same time, her manager could only think, 'how is her read on people still so naive?' Aqua was great as a talent, but her self-confidence was as strong as paper, and that was before she lost her biggest audience months back. It took a long time for her to get out of that shell, and if she couldn't convince Pekora to stop now, she may have to explain to the boss why one of their top talents is a sobbing, bedridden mess. "Pekora... I don't want to do this, but you're forcing my hand."
"What are you talking about? How can there be a problem? You've all let the other girls mess around in the server for months with free reign, and I don't see how this could be any different!"
Letting out a sigh at her charge's naivete, Pekora's manager pulled out her phone and dialed up a number filed under

"Are you really calling the boss over this? It's just Minecraft, right? Aqua wouldn't really be so torn up over a prank like that, would she?"
"I'm not calling the boss, Pekora. I'm calling someone else. Hold on, they're picking up."
Pekora watched anxiously as her manager talked to the person on the other line, before she walked over and handed the phone over. "She wants to talk to you. Shouldn't take too long."
As she took the phone, the options ran through her mind. Could it be Aqua, and she'd have to officially set it up? That would ruin the spontaneity, but it wouldn't be impossible to work with. Or maybe someone else on the Server was being asked to be substituted as a target? That wouldn't do; nothing would fit quite as well as the company war plan she was cooking up. As it turned out, neither option was right.
"Pekora-san? Is that you?"
Pekora could hear her heartbeat at that voice. This wasn't the boss, but she would have preferred him, given the actual answer. Suddenly, she felt like Atlas, the entire sky's pressure resting on her back, threatening to crush her just by existing near here.
"H-hai, Sora-senpai!"
"I heard about your idea! It sounds like a lot of fun! You're cheering Aqua-chan on, in your own way!"
"Y-yeah, that's w-what I think, t-too!"
"There's just one problem with you plan that I want to tell you about before you go through with it."
"W-what's that?"
"The leader of the Resistance is mine."

Pekora sat there for a little while, letting what she heard rattle in her brain until she fully understood. "Manager-san?"
"Yes, Usada?"
"I think I need a few days off."
"I understand. Go recover. Have fun!"
