Mori thrives in being distant and seemingly untouchable. She has and will gain more admirers and fans in the company because of this (and her music output) though her friendships will be surface level. Thankfully, she has concernfag friends (Kiara being one of them) who like to keep track of her well being but shouldn’t and don’t expect the same treatment back.

She’s not someone that you have to break down the walls of to be close to and gain the (platonic) affection of, she’s someone you can keep close but still significantly out of reach. Kiara struggled to realize this for a while but once she stopped putting her on a pedestal and changed her view of her from “BFFL” to simply a “good friend”, then she stopped being unhappy and feeling inadequate.
