Reps means repetition to be fair. Every time you try, you get more proficient at the exercise. The first time you make some kind of dumb mistake while networking... you know. You'll avoid it in the future and be better for it. Or you just learn how to get from point A (I am contacting this person cold with no warning) to point B (we are helping each other in some capacity) faster.

A parasocial relationship is where one party has no contact with the other. Those streamers reaching out to you don't qualify, since you actually know them a little. And I guess it's easier for streamers with a manageable viewer base to have something more like a social relationship... like, I could manage actually knowing 20 regulars. 200, no chance, they're getting it parasocial.

Yeah that is a mess. In an environment where you control your face, design matters. Also audio design. I tuned in to a streamer and couldn't understand what the fuck she was saying at all, but somehow other viewers could. I left. Filtered, maybe.
