Suisei is what carries the stream and Apex is what drags it down, though Suisei being pretty bad at the game doesn't exactly help. While I don't really care about the streamer's skill in games (or I'd be watching Amemiya instead) I do get frustrated if they just get killed repeatedly. Her landing on top of enemies and going around punching is usually the highlight of an Apex stream, though. After all, as long as something is happening the stream is good, but at the same time I feel like most other games would provide the same reactions as Apex possibly with better quality and higher frequency.

In general Apex includes lots of running around rummaging through lootboxes, which is somehow so very boring that I'd rather watch a proper zatsudan with the chuuba just idling on screen. And as far as zatsudans go, there ultimately is enough stuff happening in Apex that I feel any idle chat tends to get interrupted at some point and what there is tends to be of lesser quality than with some other game on the background, because ultimately FPS demands more attention from the player. I kinda feel that Apex gameplay is also generally speaking worse and more boring than some other FPS, but I haven't really watched enough FPS streams to form an opinion on that. Then there's the part where I personally detest certain sci-fi aesthetics and Apex gets very close to being the visual equivalent of nails on a chalkboard for me. Not enough to make me stop watching, but honestly I think I'd complain a lot less if she'd play PUBG or something simply because of how much the aesthetics disagree with me.
