I'm a schizoid and I've been shaken badly by getting too into vtubers. I don't know if I'm just getting old, or what. But lately, I've fallen for some of these girls so hard that it has forced me out of my usual detachment from reality. I could say that it's given me hope, actually - but of course, hope is a very dangerous thing. It's made me realize that it might have been worth it to put effort into finding a partner, because kind and interesting women actually exist - they just don't act that way around me because I never put any effort into anything. And it makes me grieve over all the years I wasted when I had no hope that things could ever get better for me. Now, I think maybe they could if I just tried. But the thought that I don't have all that much time left, and the thought of all the good times I could have missed out on...it hurts.
