While you're right that the board certainly exaggerates Kyo's behavior, the comparison to Nina is interesting because I found it hard to hate Nina due to how well she got along with the rest of the branch and how generally active she was in trying to encourage others to talk about their passions and was a good sport when being teased. Kyo comes off as pretty immature at times because he can dish out bantz but can't take it at all. Any time someone teases him he just goes silent or gets visibly annoyed. But he has no problem making fun of other people in an effort to lighten the mood so long as he isn't the butt of the joke. His chemistry with others is pretty weak as a result because he isn't open-minded like Nina was. I wish Kyo was as fun to hate as Nina since she at least played along with the hate. Kyo is just a killjoy a lot of the time in collabs and I can't help but resent him for it. He's probably just trying to play the straight man but he sucks at it.

Not that any of that is relevant to why people aggressively hate him or wish death upon him, since being a bad liver doesn't make him deserving of death. I just think there's a lot Kyo could do to better himself and a lot of valid criticisms towards his style of content if he wants to better assimilate into NijiEN. Taking himself less seriously is always good.
