I'm glad rrat is trying hard to turn the ship around of her fortunes. I said the other week she ought to just spam Minecraft and welp, here we are. Why did I suggest this? Because she's just not a gamer, she has no native interest in it and most of what Holos do is play games. She just plays any kusoge management suggests without knowing any better and debuffs herself so hard over it because it's hard for her herself to get into lame/boring games much less expect chat to. That all contributes to the perception of her being fake/forced. In MC however at least that is kind of a meta thing because it's an option to constantly be in touch with her genmates and senpai, things she does there can show up in/impact other streams for a long time to come and so on, it's a continuous story and there is no need to be some tryhard gamer pro to have fun with it. It's perfect for someone like her.

Focusing on PST/late EST time and also mostly cutting out Japanese is also a huge deal actually if you think about it, she is gunning hard. I kinda feel bad that she must have seen all the raging feedback and tries to accomodate, but I mean if she also observed her numbers and may have herself felt bad about being cited as one of the reasons EN2 is underwhelming I can't blame her either.

On the other hand it actually makes sense that maybe, rrat is a little too cloistered up, and a bit of alcohol would help her get a little mor loosened up and into her character.

I like her but she just feels very safe, like a Nick Jr cartoon char in very inappropriate clothing. I think the thing is we expected a zany conniving rascal from her design and theme and she isn't really that much at all. If she was any aspect besides chaos people wouldn't have thought it seems underwhelming, you are just trained to expect a mega-gremlin and are disappointed she isn't.

But what we did get is a cute sweet rrat. Is that REALLY that bad? A cute sweet sweet little rrat? I don't think so. Better than literally-another-Ollie at least, much better in fact.

Yeah, at first I was expecting her to be a conniving little shit considering her theme is chaos and her outfit seemed a loud /vt/ shitposting dogwhistle. Oddly, she is nothing like that at fucking all.

I can get used to her being a cute sweet little rrat though instead of the Holo Pippa, just not what I expected. Then again Kiara mentioned they usually get no choice over their models and it's more like she was designed to be a gremlin-y little thing and apparently was either miscast or they changed their minds on her persona looking looking through their top candidates.
