These threads are fairly small indeed (~60IPs or so), but some friends from other threads pop up here every so often, from the bakatare thread, nepolabo and even from single holo focused threads (and don't forget the lurkers). Also it sometimes works as a refuge when the entire board is melting from the newest and hottest drama, which is nice as a way to spread the importance of ぽ in our lives.

I mean, from what I've seen there it was a massive circlejerk with a bunch of server celebrities, so I'd rather stick to here where it's a bit nicer and with room to criticize. I would compare it to reddit but I don't use either so it would be an unfair comparison.

This one I disagree very much. It's a thread to discuss Polka. As long as nobody here decides to post her stuff on its entirety it's fine by me to have people discussing about what she mentions, plus it incentivizes people who aren't members to pay to see what all the discussion is about. Not only that but because her membership is actually pretty good, although she hasn't been as active on it for the past months compared to when she was starting out.
