This is a very short spin off for Balsa. I know it's not my most popular series but I'd encourage you to read this so that I can get some critique in how my writing style has improved (or not). I've been reading some fantasy-adventure books and while I haven't finished them, I'd like to test out a bit of what I've picked up while it's still fresh in my head.

It's only five pages so I'd encourage you to give it a chance. It's short, fast and too the point but that was my intention. This was more a practice in prose and action scenes rather than for it to be a story all unto itself. I hope I improved at least a little and if I haven't, tell me why.

The real reason Choco didn't seem that broken up by Mel's graduation is because she comforted her in bed that night (as well as last night and will be doing the same every night until she feels better)
