>You aren't "controlling" for anything anon.
There are lots of things that impact the number of views which, if not controlled, will absolutely dominate the result.
Here is one example:type of content. Noel has a myriad of videos with the same range of live audience (peak CCV, avg CCV) than these, but these are the ones that gather the most views.
The smae goes for Fauna, Patra, Millie and others. Clearly ASMR, regardless of number of subs, CCV or duration, impacts the number of views in these videos and more than anything else.

If you take a sample of videos and check vs. viewership without controlling for that, what you end up measuring is the correlation between whatever else you are trying to measure and the video being ASMR.
And the opposite is also true, if what you are trying to measure has little correlation with ASMR, it will also show little correlation with the number of VOD views.

That happens in research all the time, health research control for obesity and smoking because the two of them correlate with poor health.
Your experiment and my experiment are flawed because they don't control for the strongest signals with respect to VOD views, mostly because neither of us gave it even a slightly less superficial look.

And I don't think it would be worth it, your point is that Tempus VOD views being worse than ILUNA is not caused by the fact they're shorter and I agree.
Tempus has fewer VOD views because they're shorter, because they have fewers subs, because they're from a new branch without sucessful "senpais" to funnel an established audience or generate interest and because Nijisanji has a bigger grip on the "boy vtuber" thing that the combined sum of the rest of the industry.

>and assuming it's close to normal.
It's not, that's an ASMR. There is a reason Noel pick up these many views no ASMR, people only only listen to the complete thing (sometimes even sleep to it) but they also repeat
