The lore for all of them is good, individually and then where they encounter. Mori and Kiara always go as a pair, and they're the one thing consistent to each other.
Ina (or the AOs, specifically) is both a force of destruction that can end world, but also a very sweet girl who, despite appearances, is pretty normal most of the time. Watson and Gura are both fish out of water in their own ways. Any of them has potential to be a villain or a hero, and they are neither.

Time-traveling detective, underwater "monster" that is her friend, a mysterious priestess who can be the catalyst for destruction. I wish it had the reaper and phoenix too but they are originally of another realm.

HoloALT should fix some of that. All the generations could have their own lore or a combined one. It's just that Myth seems to be one of the easiest to write, and sadly it won't have anything like that just yet. Hopefully someday. Until then the fans do a decent job.

i always forget to save it but i remember the one comic where ina is in a more-or-less vegetative state because of the ancient ones taking hold of her.
ame comes into her room and tells her how much she "doesn't want to do it" and then proceeds to mercy kill ina just an hero herself after.
