I know all good things must come to an end but the thought of this has been on my mind a lot lately.
I try to remind myself that if I keep dwelling on this, then I obviously won't enjoy what time there is left.
But knowing that everything is finite just fucks with me sometimes.
Case in point I want to stop fucking thinking, I don't want to imagine my oshi leaving any time soon.

Yes, I think about this with my oshi sometimes.
You don't exactly choose your oshi, they choose you.
You're just watching Holos to get an idea of what they're like, and then you come across that one stream or video that just does it for you. It clicks. And you just keep watching 'em and you just can't get enough.
And... I think that's what did it for me.
And it kind of pains me that my oshi isn't real. I'm incredibly aware of this, and I try not to let it bog down my enjoyment. Hell, I've been able to fight that feeling off on a good day. But it remains in the back of my mind.

Same, anon
When I'm at work I just keep thinking about her and how cute she is, and how I can't wait to get home to try and catch a stream (since some of her streams have been while I'm at work)

I just want a clip of the chu from Ame's Oblivion stream so I can watch/listen to it on demand rather than having to just seek out the time stamp each time
I can do that but like
Fuck, I can't stop thinking about that now, I love it, but fuck

Here's how I see it
I think it's just easier to say that you love your oshi or that she's your waifu or whatever or pretend you're in love rather than just saying you just really enjoy their content and that they bring you joy
Like obviously there's no chance of anyone actually being with their oshi, it really is just like having a waifu at the end of the day, but a little more special because there's some level of interactivity
And as long as you're aware of this in the back of your mind, and as long as you're not actively doing any harm to yourself and especially not to others, does it really matter?
I'm well aware that nothing fucking matters and that I'm lonely, but this helps me deal, and I have something to look forward to; that's really all there is to it

The date part was actually quite nice
The game was, well
It had a good message, sometimes stuff you go after just doesn't work, but sometimes stuff you don't expect does, that kinda thing
But it was a game about a failed relationship on Valentine's Day
Is it weird that I kind of didn't want to think about that?
