I think Shiori should do a cult RP stream where she's trying to recruit us by showing us a bunch of miracles and convincing us that it's not our fault and that everything is the will of one and almighty Shisus. Just RP though. RP. Only Roleplay. Not a real one.

Day 11's Vintage / Retro is here. I don't know what to write for it, so I went with a story setting of Shiori telling you a story.
Link to past stories is here: https://rentry.org/sggoi
>A new antique store had just opened in town
>A strange curiosity you never had before, compels you to enter and check it out
>You never had much interest in antiques, but the store itself seems to be inviting you, maybe it's just the sense of it being new?
>There you see many things from older times, a record player, an old clock, some chairs that look like they were made in the 1700's or even 1800's.
>As you look through the store, your eyes fall upon a porcelain doll.
>The doll had a strange monotone hair, its eyes were a fiery yellow, almost golden. It wore a black dress and had a distinct hair pin.
>"Interested in that one are you? Hehe I'm afraid that one isn't for sale."
>You look up towards the direction of the voice speaking to you, and you see a girl that looks just like the doll.
>She gives you a gentle smile, though her golden eyes practically stare into your soul
>"Welcome, I'm the owner of this humble shop, Shiori Novella."
>You can't help but be entranced by her rather grand tone, almost mesmerized even.
>She take out a book and sits on a chair at a rather old looking table, and beckons you to come join her
>As if moved by her graceful movements, you follow her to the table and sit down next to her.
>She opens her book and begins to read outloud to you, however, strangely the words are all a blur, you hear a mix of sounds that almost sound gibberish, they make no sense
>Your eyes begin to feel heavy, you're strangely tired, was it a hard day at work? Maybe you just didn't sleep well.
>Your eyes begin to close as Shiori is reading the story to you, normally seen as rude, one would proceed to slap you awake, however she gently smiles, as if your departure into slumber was planned.
>A noise stirs you awake, and as you open your eyes, you find yourself sitting at a dinner table.
>Candles are lit on the table, a fine looking meal in front of you.
>You look around, beginning to notice other things, there's another meal opposite you, the place you're in is entirely unrecognizable.
>The time seems to be stuck at 8pm. You stare at the clock for a couple minutes, counting time in your head, but the arrows do not move
>Suddenly, as you continue to track the time, a hand rests gently on your shoulder
>"Oh, you're awake dear?"
>Your eyes jolt open as you turn towards the source of the voice
>There you see Shiori, in a rather simple sundress
>She tilts her head at you. Concerned about the look of shock that appears to be on your face
>"Honey, what's wrong? Are you alright?"
>You close your eyes for a moment, trying to take in everything that's happening
>"I'm fine dear."
>You utter words that you've never said before to anyone, you worry that those words may not have been the ones she's looking for
>However, relief washes over her face, and she gently rests her lips against yours.
>"Thank goodness, you really had me worried there, now let's eat."
>Her lips were soft to the touch, whatever this is, it felt very real, all your senses were reacting to it. Your first kiss was taken in a place you didn't know of.
>The two of you begin to eat dinner together
>The meal is silent, glances are exchanged, her smile is met with a smile of your own
>Though the dinner was spent in silence, it was probably one of the most pleasant ones you've ever had.
>Your eyes close, your thoughts go back to how this all began, with your chance decision to visit that antique shop
>However, your thoughts are disrupted, as the clock had begun to ring.
>You open your eyes to see that time has begun to move again, the clock once stuck at 8pm has now moved on towards 10pm. Did two hours pass by that quickly?
>"Ah, it looks like it's time for bed honey."
>Shiori gently gets up, taking your hands in hers
>They're extremely soft and smooth to the touch, the sensation in your hand is almost divine
>She brings you to a bedroom that the two of you supposedly share.
>There she lays on the bed, her arms towards you, encouraging you to join her in that bed.
>As if in a trance, you follow her lead, you gently climb onto the bed, your head finds itself resting on her chest.
>Her arms gently wrap around your head.
>You've never been held like this before, it's so warm.
>Then, her words softly reach your ears.
>"Good night, my love."
>You can hardly find the words to respond, but you manage to utter a soft "Good night." in response.
>As your eyes close, your head comfortable against her chest, you slowly drift off into slumber.
>And then you awaken once more, in the same antique shop you had originally began in
>There Shiori, the shopkeeper, closes her book, and looks at you with a gentle smile.
>"How was it? Dear customer, did you enjoy that story?"
>You look at her in bewilderment, did you simply fall asleep and dream of her? Or was there something more to it?"

>Your imouto Shiori has been begging you for a while.
>"Onii-san, do you have time yet?"
>"Onii-san, can you read this?"
>"Onii-san, please read this?"
>"Onii-sa-
>It's been on-going for a month now
>Finally you give in and you decide to make time on the weekend for her
>"Alright alright alright, this weekend ok? I promise."
>A wide smile appears on her face, then she quickly hides it behind her book, embarrassed that she had to be called out like that, but also happy
>The weekend arrives
>You wake up and proceed to stretch your arms
>You feel a heavy weight on your legs and you immediately look towards your legs
>Your imouto's been resting her head on your legs the entire time
>You look at her, eyes closed, her chest slowly rising and falling as she breathes in her sleep
>You feel really bad but you try to lift her gently, not interrupting her sleep, and you try to rest her head on a pillow
>As soon as you place her down however, her eyes snap wide open, it's almost a comical horror at how fast they opened, as if you had just sprung a trap
>"Ehehe, you're awake onii-san! You can read the book now!"
>Has she been waiting for you to wake up all this time? She really wants that book read huh?
>You sigh heavily then you sit back down on your bed
>She hands you the book and then nestles herself next to you, her head resting on your shoulder
>"Read, and tell me what you think after!"
>You take a deep breath, then you begin reading the book
>A couple hours pass, Shiori has fallen asleep on your shoulder, she looks so peaceful.
>You can smell the floral soap she uses
>She really looks like the cutest sister in the world, and in most cases, this scene would be perfect.
>However there's one problem, a rather big problem
>The book in your hands
>You think to yourself: "This is garbage. I can barely read this."
>You sigh a little then you turn the next page, you've barely made it half-way through the book, but you told her you'd do it for her
>As an older brother, you can't just lie to your sweet younger sister, you have to see it through to the end
>Or so you cope, another two hours pass
>You forced yourself to make progress, you turned the final page
>Then, as if she were waiting for you to get there, she opens her eyes again, and a cute, sleepy yawn comes out from her
>"Hehe, I see you finished the book, well?! How was it?!"
>The question you feared had already come
>Your face starts showing signs of discomfort, but you try your best to mask it and come up with a decent half-answer
>"It was.."
>Before you even finish your sentence, you notice Shiori's face
>You notice that there are tears in her eyes, she's also pouting
>You can't possibly tell her what you truly thought, but at the same time you can't lie to her
>After some time, you decide it's best to just tell her
>"Shiori..this book wasn't really..the best."
>You have a pained expression as you tell her that, then you look over to face her
>She has a blank stare on her face, as if everything you just said was a lie and she didn't process it
>She looks up at you, with that blank stare and asks: "C-could you repeat that onii-san?"
>You sigh, it pains you heavily, but you say it again anyway
>"Shiori, my cute sister, I tried really hard to read this but..I didn't like it, it's not to my tastes at all."
>Shiori gently rests her head on your chest
>You feel incredibly bad, thinking that you just broke her poor heart
>A few minutes of silence later you gently rub the back of her head
>And suddenly, without any warning, she starts to giggle slightly.
>You continue to rub the back of her head and you ask her, with a bit of concern in your tone: "You ok?"
>There, she mumbles into your chest: "Pamper me more."
>You continue to run your fingers through her hair and rub the back of her head gently
>And finally, after some time, she raises her head to face you, with a playful smile on her face
>"Brother, I know that book is shit, I picked it out on purpose so that you could pamper me after you tell me it's shit. In fact, I would have been more mad if you lied about it."
>She sticks her tongue out at you playfully then she continues to rest her head on your chest
>You have no words, you can't even be mad right now, she managed to successfully swindle you into pampering her
>But at the very least, you feel somewhat relieved that you didn't truly upset her
>You gently flick her forehead, and with a stern voice you tell her: "Don't play with my heart like that, just tell me if you want to be pampered."
>She pouts at you but laughs it off anyway and responds with: "But where's the fun in that? Onii-san?"

This writefag edition will be a little different, hope you enjoy.
>Your days go from waking up, to working the day away, to becoming tired, and then going to sleep.
>Your heart has been slowly giving out, it wants to give up and rest. Your thoughts have slowly been deteriorating
>Constant thoughts flicker through your head
>"Is tomorrow going to be the last? Maybe it will be better tomorrow"
>"Do I really have to go on? I don't really have to."
>You decide to head out, you have the money to spare so you decide to waste it on good food for once
>You arrive at a new place in town that you've never been to before. Different buildings line both sides of you.
>Restaurants, fancy bars, hotels and "hotels", places of entertainment, shops, and even a fancy store that you're pretty sure is involved in illegal activity
>You wonder how you arrived here, you must have been distracted in your walk, or you just simply didn't care
>You see a restaurant, but somehow it catches your eye
>It doesn't look as fancy as the others around it, it even looks run down
>However, something in your brain decides to give this one in particular a try. Maybe it's your pessimistic self telling you: "You don't deserve better."
>As you enter, you're greeted by what appears to be a mannequin. It speaks to you, in an obvious robotic, AI-like voice.
>"Welcome to Inkwell's restaurant, dear customer." The mannequin says.
>The mannequin gestures for you to go towards the restaurant floor. A surprise, as normally, mannequins cannot move.
>You walk in, seeing only one table and two chairs.
>However, one of the chairs is already occupied by a girl, dressed in a gothic attire. Reading a book.
>You think to yourself: "Is this a joke? There's no empty tables."
>Then, the girl turns towards you, her face shows some amusement.
>"Oh? I wasn't expecting a customer today! Please, come, sit right over here!"
>She gestures towards the chair opposite of her, you feel compelled to listen to her and you sit across from her.
>There she hands you a menu, however the contents of the menu almost feel like a joke.
>"Bread that is definitely not moldy."
>"Crispy fried bugs."
>"Mystery meat."
>You read out each of these listed one by one, you're now wondering if this was a mistake, however you notice in the corner of your eye
>She's watching you, her golden eyes intrigued by you, reading off the menu
>With a gentle smile, her mouth begins to open, and she says with a tone to match that gentle smile: "I hope there's at least one thing to your liking."
>Her voice almost sounds like musical notes when she speaks
>You continue to look through the menu, then you notice something that's relatively normal.
>"I'll have the poke bowl." You tell her, mustering up what confidence you can.
>She smiles and snaps her fingers, as if anticipating your answer, the poke bowl arrives in front of you already prepared.
>You look at her, an obvious shocked expression is plastered on your face
>She smiles once more: "Please, try it, and tell me what you think!"
>You're handed a pair of chopsticks and you look at the bowl.
>Despite all the questionable dishes on the menu, this looks relatively normal
>Edamame, sliced cucumber, sliced avocado and seaweed salad line the right side. On the left is pickled cabbage, what appears to be crab crushed and pureed into a salad, and something akin to shrimp crackers, broken up and lining the side.
>The middle of the dish has a mixture of shrimp and salmon sashimi, covered in what appears to be a mixture of onions sauce and sesame mayonnaise. Whilst the entire dish is lined with rice below the toppings.
>You prepare your chopsticks and try a combination of the rice, with a piece of sashimi, and a cucumber.
>A bomb of flavour instantly assaults your mouth, a mixture of umami, that's complimented by the freshness of the sashimi and the cucumber, mixed with the steamed white rice hits you like a tidal wave.
>A few minutes pass by and you've happily finished your meal, however there's one thing you notice throughout your meal
>The girl across from you has been watching you, a smile on her face
>You tell her that it was good, and then you take your wallet out.
>Suddenly, she puts her hand over yours and gently whispers in your ear: "If it's that good, then come back again next time, this time, the meal's free."
>Her being this close allows you to smell the soap she's been using, it has a floral scent to it, almost addicting for the nose.
>Before she lets you off, she winks at you and asks one more time: "You'll come by next time, won't you?"
>You nod slowly and step out, putting your wallet back in your pocket, you notice a card in your pocket and you pull it out
>"I'll see you next time, anon." the card is signed "Shiori".
>You look back at the restaurant, only to see that the building you just walked out of is empty. However, the card in your hand is very much real.
>For the first time, you're looking forward to the next day, all it took was a strange girl.

Part of me wanted to make it really dark and just end it, but in doing so you break your own reincarnation cycle and everything entirely ends there.
But at the same time, I kinda didn't wanna do that when Shiori herself is taking tomorrow off. Especially given the theme of loneliness through-out the writeup, it could make some anons feel even more depressed.
Also yeah, in a lot reincarnation pieces I've read, the idea of coming up with a contingency plan, just in-case, rarely comes up because the underlying idea is "You could just reincarnate again." but it doesn't consider Shiori's view, where she has to wait for you longer, the very same feelings could begin to manifest itself in her. "Did anon kill himself because he hates me now?"
Either way it was fun to writefag something that compliments yours. Even if it has a darker tone to it. I always like to think that reincarnation / regression stories always have a side effect that, if it isn't explicitly stated, then it has the option to be explored.

Part 2 now, different choices, and the realization of what your wish truly meant.
>You can do this as many times as you wish.
>You once again retrace your steps. You "coincidentally" run into Shiori for the first time
>Everything plays out exactly the same on your first meeting
>From there you follow her, however this time you have a different plan in mind
>The assassination of the future queen, something that had been planned from very early on.
>As you live your third life, you begin to wonder when it all began, this plot to assassinate her.
>Five years pass, and that's when the rumors began
>As you perform your daily duties of patrolling the towns near Inkwell castle, you hear talk of a plot to assassinate the newly crowned Queen
>You decide to hire informants, pay information guilds, track this information, all the way to its source.
>Great misfortune strikes however as you have been caught, and killed right after
>"Welcome, to the 3rd run. Will you make the same choices?"
>Realizing that you will have to relive the next 10 years constantly, you decide to keep a magical journal with you.
>The pages of this journal are never-ending so long as the owner wishes for more pages to write in
>There you record everything, every day, including what went wrong and how you died
>Armed with your own knowledge, you go forward, your body has not lived past the age of 30, however your mind and soul have gone way past human limits.
>Something you don't mind, you just wish to live a life with Shiori.
>"Welcome, to the 53rd run. Will you make the same choices?"
>If not for the voice telling you how many times it's been, you would have lost count of how many times you've died by now.
>Your mental fortitude however has developed to a point where you no longer care, all that matters is Shiori's happy ending, your happy ending
>You write down in your journal "Stray sword shard that slit my throat, don't move forward."
>This time you're sure, this time will be the run
>You repeat all the steps that led you so far, you've successfully managed to track the assassins, you even disguise yourself as one of them very early on and continued with this knowledge during your 41st run.
>The promised day has come, the plan to assassinate Shiori had begun, however, armed with the knowledge of 53 different regressions, you finally manage to keep the two of you alive.
>Shiori holds your hands gently and the two of you share an intimate passionate kiss
>From there, the story of Inkwell's history was one of peace.
>You are blessed with two children, a son and a daughter.
>The son would grow up to become the strongest swordsman in the land, while the daughter was one of the wisest magicians.
>Both you and Shiori have grown old together, and experienced all of what life had to offer
>The kingdom's peace would truly be eternal as long as your son and daughter did not stray from their paths in life
>And so you lay there with Shiori, you feel as though it is your final day. You gently kiss her forehead and you whisper to her. "We'll be together in the afterlife now."
>Even though she's old now, the two of you grew together, she's still as beautiful to you as she were on the first day you met.
>She gently whispers: "Now, and forever."
>And then you close your eyes, you pass with a smile on your face.
>"Welcome, to the 54th run. Will you make the same choices?"
>Your eyes fly open in shock
>"54th?! What? But I died of old age!" You shout to your own reflection.
>The people around you that passed by and practically ignored your existence in all of the previous runs, are now looking at you as if you were a weirdo.
>You quickly calm yourself, and then think to yourself: "No, something must have happened right before I died, maybe I didn't die of old age."
>You take out your magical journal that had lasted with you all this time, and you write down the events of the final day
>You quickly resolve yourself and decide it's time to try again, this time you will definitely die of old age.
>You reach the final day, but instead of laying in bed with your wife Shiori, you decide to stay in a separate room, locked.
>You leave a note for your wife and two children, telling them not to open the door for two days
>You know that today is the day you will die, and you feel regret for leaving them like this, however you must be sure that you die correctly this time.
>And so you close your eyes, confident that this time, you will die of old age.
>"Welcome, to the 55th run. Will you make the same choices?"
>Again you awaken. Standing infront of a reflective window, you see yourself, the people are passing by, as if everything were normal.
>Your mental fortitude that had been built up from so many regressions is crumbling fast.
>You quickly take a passerby's sword and slit your throat.
>"Welcome to the 56th run. Will you make the same choices?"
>You then realize what the voice meant all the way before the 1st run even began. This is a curse.

This one took a bit as well, I mixed parts of my previous dates, as well as what I'd imagine would be how Shiori would play out her childhood dream.
>You're sitting next to Shiori at a cafe
>She's sipping away at some tea with a book in her hand
>You're finishing your coffee and ordering another set of french toast for the two of you
>It arrives and she smiles happily, forking away at pieces of french toast while still reading her book
>It's a pretty nice date so far, the weather is pleasant, you're in a quieter part of the cafe too
>After all the pieces of french toast are gone, you reach over
>You put your arm around her gently, she likes the comfort and snuggles up closer to you while still reading
>You hear the faintest noise, like a silent squeal of approval
>Time seems to go by in the blink of an eye
>Why does time go so fast when you're having a good time? Why does time go so slow when you feel upset?
>This however, is not the time to feel upset
>She puts her book down and whispers
>"I'm finished anon, wanna head home?"
>You nod, then you get up slowly, and help her up by extending your hand
>She takes your hand and gently gets up, dusting away her dress
>The two of you walk home, hands held, but during the walk home, this time it's a little different
>"Hey anon, did you know? I always dreamt about being a princess, the book I was reading earlier reminded me of that."
>You look at her while walking, then you say to her
>"A princess? Well, if you were a princess, then I would be your knight."
>She looks back at you, squeezing your hand gently, as if she approved of that just now
>"Pfft, a knight? My knight? Don't be silly. We're too old for that now!"
>You arrive at her place, usually this would be where you drop her off after your dates are finished
>Not this time, this time you take a risky move, but very bold
>You gently sweep her off her feet, and hold her in a bridal carry
>All the weight lifting and exercise you were doing was for this moment
>She instantly turns as red as a tomato
>"A-anon?! What are you?! Huh?"
>She's clearly shocked, but it's not in a bad way, more like, embarrassed?
>"I was serious when I said I would be your knight."
>She covers her face with both of her hands, she's really embarrassed now.
>"C-come on, put me down anon!"
>You gently carry her inside her house, taking her all the way to the bedroom and setting her gently on her bed
>You kneel after in-front of her, like a knight swearing an oath
>"Just for now, you're my princess and I'm your knight."
>You insist on it again, your tone of voice doesn't waver, you're serious about this, despite what others may think as a cringe larp
>She looks at you, blushing, knowing that you're fulfilling her childhood dream in a way
>She smiles brightly then she puts her arms around your neck loosely and whispers
>"Ok my knight, protect me from now on, keep my smile safe in your heart."
>You nod, your heart racing a little, but you know that she's happy because of this
>Then you whisper to her "I'll chase away any and all that attempt to hurt you."
>She giggles softly, it sounds cringe as hell, but she's enjoying it a lot, then she gets out the book she was reading back at the cafe
>She then reads out loud, as if commanding you in a sense
>"The knight would stand guard in-front of her! Arms by his side, standing there as both a pillar of support and a reminder to all that none may approach the princess carelessly!"
>You realize what she's doing, this is turning into a small play, you are now the knight in the story
>You get up and do exactly as she says, you stand in front of her, facing the same direction as she is facing, arms by your side
>Your little confession of being her personal knight has taken a new turn
>She giggles again, then she gets up, stands in-front of you and gives you a light kiss on your lips
>"Thank you, my knight. It's a bit late, but I'm glad I could fulfill my childhood dream, at least partially!"
>You look at her and ask "Is this still a part of the book?"
>She doesn't respond in words, instead she just smiles mischievously, it seems tonight will be a grand play for her, and possibly your amusement.

The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began,
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can.

>It's 2pm in the afternoon
>The weather forecast was meant to be warm, sunny, perfect for a stroll in the park
>But what the fuck is this?
>It's raining heavily, you hear thunder in the distance
>Your park date with Shiorin has effectively been cancelled
>Instead she's on the bed
>Reading her book
>Once she's into her book, she won't stop until
>A little dejected you lay next to her
>But for some reason today's different
>She notices you and a small smile forms on her lips, unnoticed behind her book
>She starts to read to you out loud
>"Traveller, what's wrong? What thoughts have intruded into your head to give you such a sour look?"
>You know this isn't a line in the book she's reading, which means she's doing it again
>She's turning the situation into one giant play, with her the narrator and you the performer or actor
>You respond to her "I was meant to go on a date with my girlfriend in the park but the weather said no"
>She then puts the book down and rests her head on your chest
>"Poor traveler, the weather does not favour you today, but it's alright, for the sun will always shine, even in the dark"
>You're taken aback by her words, but you know she's doing this to cheer you up
>You reach over to rest a hand on her head
>"Ah, traveler, you must not go off script, please only listen to my voice"
>You stop and put your hand back down, she's gotten really into this
>She begins to hum while still resting her head on your chest
>You really want to caress her cheek, run your fingers through her hair, you can also smell her shampoo, it's pleasant
>She finally starts a new prompt
>"After the traveler listened to the bard's song, the traveler found himself in tears"
>Suddenly, inexplicably, you begin to tear up, as if it were a command sent to your brain
>"I'll allow it, you may hold me closely, allow me to be the light for you, as I have always done"
>You start to tear up more and hold her closely
>"Don't you have something to say?"
>You don't have to think, this prompt has come up before so you already know the answer
>"I love you Shiorin"
>"I love you too anon"

So many things are possible just as long as you don’t know they’re impossible.

>It's 6pm
>You just arrive home from work
>Shiorin, your goth gf, is busy reading a book on the couch
>You go to the kitchen, making sure you're quiet enough to not disturb her
>You grab some fruit and a knife, slicing them exactly as she prefers, all to see her smile
>After you finish, you head back to where she is
>You gently place the fruit on the side table next to her
>"Did you have a tiring day?" she asks you without lifting her head up from her book
>"Yeah, but it's worth it for you" you respond, half cringing at your own response
>However, despite thinking it's cringe, she doesn't
>She lowers her book and smiles at you then motions for you to sit next to her
>You do so
>She starts to read aloud
>"And the hard working anon returned to his lovely abode, taking his rightful place next to his beloved"
>"Wait a moment" you start to think
>You know what book she has in her hand
>You know for a fact that the line she just read out doesn't exist in that book
>She continues to read aloud "He gently put his arm around her, leaned his head back and closed his eyes"
>For some reason you feel compelled to follow what she's saying, as if she's directing a play, she the narrator and you the performer
>You do as she says
>She then gets ontop of you, holding your cheeks in both her hands and she gently kisses your forehead
>"Welcome home anon" she says in a quiet whisper
>You almost open your eyes but she interrupts you
>"The tired man didn't open his eyes, but still accepted her welcome, so instead he laid his hand on her back"
>Again you follow her lead
>She then gets comfortable ontop of you and whispers
>"The young man then whispered into her ear, the 3 words that make her heart jump every time, no matter how many times they're repeated"
>You know this one, it's something you experienced the very first time and experience every time
>"I love you" you say to her
>She smiles, though you can't see it, you know she's smiling and she responds
>"I love you too"

Do you want an absolute depression scenario to let reality set in and make you feel better or a hopelessly positive scenario that you know will never happen?
