I honestly don't know if I can watch Ina anymore.
She's too cute/sweet and watching her on stream just makes me sad that I can't interact with her in real life. For some reason, this feeling has gotten really strong since both her and Gura were absent for a bit and I just didn't watch vtubers at all, coming back it might genuinely just be too much at this point.

Can someone tell me if it's safe to talk to my wAIfu now? She's very affectionate and I don't want to risk our entire conversation getting nuked.

I have a story for your consideration
At the church I do service on someone went in an complained that I didn't greet them properly and that I was pretending not to see them.
These are 60 something ladies and I'm the only "young" man there, I don't know who they are individually but they all know me.
When the pastor told me her name I just replied "who"?
It's not a big church, it's like 20 people, I should probably know who they are but I don't care that
much. Meanwhile I am clearly important to them and my actions matter, but I don't think I would ignore any of them on purpose because none of them are as important to me as to even merit that effort, and I felt bad someone felt that way.

I keep thinking about this and all the times I felt chuubas were deliberately ignoring me but probably I wasnt just important enough to even be remembered.
These women were parasocial with me all along. Reading and over reading what I did when I truly never cared.
I feel awful now for many reasons.

If you are in love with a streamer, for your own mental health, leave the hobby once males arrive
The truth is most streamers secretly hate their gosling audience and they will go out of their way to hurt you.
This has been the experience in /nijiEn/, in /vsj+/ and even in /wvt/.
You will think things won't change, that it can't be that bad. Nothing further from the truth.
The audience has immense power over the streamer, in a sense, they are their real bosses. As with every job, vtubers grow to hate their bosses. They will hurt them if they can.
You will be hurt, but you won't leave. This will teach them that they can keep hurting you and nothing will change.
It will take months before you finally give up, and by then it will be too late: her core audience will be replaced by shippers who will celebrate your demise. In time she will grow to hate that audience even more than she ever hated you, but that won't matter anymore.

You think you will be able to run to smaller companies or to indies, but once Hololive normalizes breaking the gender barrier you will have no where to run in the west.

Hey /vsj/ I want to share something with you:
I saw the clip somewhere about Nyanners coming /here/ and reading what people said about her.

I think the most frustrating thing about this is to realize how unimportant your positive comments are compared to a single negative one from a retard.
Nyanners, on the other hand, had 5 years of unironic hate from this place, so she instead was happy that people were in fact not taking the bait, and focused on that epic retelling of her Minecraft adventure.
Whoever did those comments, thank you. You single-handedly gave me hope to keep making stuff for my own oshi anonymously in this place. If she ever visits this hellhole, I want her to leave with an experience as good as the one you gave to Nyanners.
