I honestly don't get Mr.Coom. I'm a western chink, and my chink gf in China, who has never given a shit about any of my otaku hobbies or anything, recently started talking to me about "these crazy vtubers" that all her students are watching, and it's just High school girls in China watching Vox, like crazy. They don't get YT so it's mostly clippers on bilibili but Christ they're nuts for him. Except for one kid, a gay guy who's into Mysta instead. It's gotten to the extent where she's helping them print out ao3 Vox fanfiction, and their main motivation for learning English is to watch more Vox.
