I say take your shot! I'm not a /asp/autist but personally I would say don't try and "make a character" when auditioning, from my observation being your genuine self is always the best bet, and it usually translates into a nice and chill chuuba, since it's literally just you!
And focus on your stregths, drawing, singing, gaming, whatever, get your niche down, you can branch out later if you get in!
Don't oversell yourself too much, but also be confident in your strengths and express you are willing to learn (this is just general advice for applying for a job)

You are neither a bad person or like chaos, you simply desire attention. And that is ok! We are social creatures, attention is something that we crave whether we admit it to ourselves or not! But why seek attention using words that might potentially hurt those around you instead of something that might make them smile? You make people smile, they will give you their attention without you needing to do anything, and you might eventually even befriend them! it's a win-win situation!
