Depends on which series, really. For two of them I've released an opening chapter or two because they were interesting ideas, only to end up with no clue on where to take the plot, causing me to move onto other WIPs while I sit on them and try to brainstorm what I can do with the setting I've created.
Then there's a couple of unreleased series I'm working on, most of which have the basic plot beats planned out. Nothing concrete but I have a beginning, some important scenes and an ending that's subject to change. I'm trying to hold off on releasing these until some of my other stuff is out of the way.
The only series of mine where each chapter's events are set in stone (for now, at least) is an ongoing one I've been working on since the beginning of my time here. My plans never go exactly like I expect so some of it might deviate from the original path, but I have a clear direction on where to take the main story. Or I did, at least. Right now I'm just following what the me of the past plotted out.

Angry Joshu-kun was angry about getting punished for not ending the threads with Koyo as it's natural and every Joshu's deed to make sure it happens. Throwing out an anchor to stop horny Joshus was probably too much when Koyori just lured them to lust after her.
