Here a 30 day average without raid numbers so it's more accurate. You can do well on Youtube, but it takes a hell of a lot more work for less payout in the end. If your goal is just to stream (and throw highlights and non-stream content on to Youtube) then just stick to Twitch, there's so much more room for growth, community involvement, financial gain, just about every way aside from not being able to rewind streams directly from the stream page. Most people who start on Youtube and move to Twitch see growth because even their followers watch more on Youtube.

A great example is Randon who has the Youtube game down perfectly. Consistent uploads, great bite-sized content, a good editor, everything. He still did better on Twitch after streaming there for I think 2+ weeks. He just prefers Youtube because he likes making video content as much as he like streaming and values his Youtube channel more.
