>The less reverb/clipping/noise, the better
Recording in your closet (if you have clothes in there) or in your car isn't a bad option. If your mic clips a lot, stand further back and turn down the gain.

Deadline is the end of Sunday, June 20 (Father's Day), in the last possible time zone, so take your time.
