I was thinking about how well inkya/youkya correspond to introvert/extrovert. They seem like the kind of close enough terms that it is easy to forget the nuances, especially since it's not like most people adhere to dictionary definitions. Introvert is not supposed to mean shy nor socially awkward, but that's how people use it especially if they want a "medical" explanation for their difficulties that gives them a free licence to not grind their social skills.
