youtube is a shitty ass website with an overly complicated method of verifying viewers. Their algorithm has always been complete shit.

Like Pippa getting 1500 votes in her poll after a few minutes, with only 900 people watching. Clearly some users with adblock are not counting, or something.

The live viewer counts had strange behavior before. They would spike up and down randomly and create this wavelike pattern on all streams. You would see it oscillate up and down at regular intervals. There's clearly something fuckery gong on there.

There is a batch error in Youtube that is fucking with viewcounts. Batches are dropped periodically. Every time a new batch is found, it counts a new view. That's why streams with 6000 continuous watchers load with 60,000 views at the end. Most of youtube's views are completely fake and the audiences are actually closer to livestream counts
