making stuff. originally when I was younger, it was mostly analog electronics and robotics, but I've expanded into non-electronics stuff too. I've got a whole makerspace in my garage with 3D printers, a laser cutter, vector plotter, CNC mill, all also built by me. I like making little custom gifts for my friends. I make my own clothes. I build my own furniture. Whoever owns my house after me is probably going to find a nightmare of DIY stuff I've done to it. I learned how to cook because I needed a "normal" hobby and what do you know, that's a type of "making things" and also super fun. I've apparently gotten good at hiding my power level because one of my friends didn't realize I was a nerd until a year after knowing him when he was helping me move.

I do that sometimes but it's a gamble, either you make a good friend fast or you scare them off early. I guess you could argue it's a good idea to weed out people who aren't into the same stuff as you, though
