Who do you think will be the first one to retire from HoloEN? Personally I think either Gura or Kiara would be the first to go.

>> No.1004713

Gura. She has BPD.

>> No.1005091

None of them are unbelievable.
>Kiara
Mental issues and drama-prone, has up and quit projects before.
>Gura
Mental issues and imposter syndrome. Not terribly passionate about vtubing.
>Ame
Mental issues. Not terribly passionate about vtubing.
>Ina
Has a career and success outside of vtubing. Probably has the least reason to stay committed but also gets the least drama, so she'd likely only quit for her own reasons.
>Mori
Has success outside of vtubing, though she's produced so much work under her vtuber identity that she has extra reason not to quit.
At least Gura and Ame probably also have financial reasons to stick it out.

Yeah, I dunno about Gura because she could always just go back to being HER, but Ame would be stocking shelves otherwise.

Personally I think they all stand about the same chance. That being said I don't think any of them will plan on leaving soon. Ame and Gura are both really lonely sounding people and I think having a community has helped them out. Ame was a much less well known youtuber before this and I recall Gura saying at the very beginning she wanted to do something new. Ina also really seems to enjoy having a community as well. Kiara is a mess of a person but I think as long as Calli stays she'll stay. And Calli is more popular and well known now than she's ever been before and actually has the money to buy a better house and go on vacations and stuff so I don't see her giving this up any time soon. Why did I spend the past ten minutes writing this.

Kiara: drama, track records

It will be interesting to see who stays after the pandemic is over.

I have the fear that Calli will leave once she can go on [you know what] again. I have the suspicion that she uses this only as a bridge to get over the pandemic times where going on [you know what] is not possible.

According to Gura, she gets more and more comfortable with streaming to a large audience. Also: her and Ame also did [you know what] before Hololive so it was already their desire to do stuff like that back then so why ever stop if you enjoy it?

Kiara might leave because she gets sick of the haters who really seem to get to her. Hope not. I love the chicken.

Kiara is a twice failed idol this is her last, last chance no way she is quitting willingly. Only thing I could see is if she gets political or otherwise drama lamas and gets the boot.
>Gura
Whatever her problems she seems a lot happier with hololive than she was before and she is the only one who seems to genuinely idolize her senpais. I don't see her quitting anytime soon and its hard to see how she might do something that would get her in real trouble.
>Ame
She has been a hard working streamer for years with little success and has finally struck gold I can't imagine why she would throw it away. Also not sure where your "not passionate" comments are coming from I watch mostly Ame and Gura and they almost always seem to be having a good time and genuinely care for and appreciate their audience.
>Ina
not too familiar with her but your assessment seems fair
>Mori
Keep in mind Callie was dirt poor before joining hololive despite her "success" and working 2 jobs. I doubt she is in a hurry to give up that sweet SC cheddar when all she has to do is get drunk and whisper suggestive things into a microphone, while pretending she didn't mean it like that.
From what I've heard of her work she has zero mainstream appeal, she tries to sound like a serious rapper but she is neither technically skilled enough for that to be impressive nor have the right persona to lend authenticity so she just ends up sounding like what she is, a little girl pretending to be a hard ass. If she embraced the moe a little more and did a different style of performance I bet shed have better luck.

Mori is so skilled at milking her viewers it's unreal, she turned half a bottle of Bacardi into something like 3000 bucks with her T2 drinking game (one of the rules was blank superchats = drink, audience thought it was red and it's not like she clarified because the rules were secret), it was insane

>Kiara
- Being constantly harassed and stalked, as well as her being pretty melancholic. She might just not take the pressure.
+Treats chat like her psychotherapist and actually loves Vtubing

>Gura
- Mental problems due to constantly projecting her own dislikes to the subscribers. A hostage of her own fears.
+ wants to be with chat regardless and has actual plans on fresh content (which already means it's not really a burnout; just tired of repetitiveness)

>Ame
nothing special, I don't see her graduating. Just stable Vtuber

>Ina
- Has a life outside of VTubing
+ Treats it like hobby, yet still gets a lot of donations. Will probably stay, since she is as stable as Ame. Likes what she's doing.

>Mori
Has a big potential outside of VTubing but she still needs this to use it as a platform. Is surrounded by gigachads who throw textless 500$ SC at her. The only graduation I can see is a promotion.

>> No.1025424

This is the dumbest speculation thread, because people don't really really graduate from hololive to begin with. The only instances were 1) termination of an entire country's branch, 2) an extreme and dedicated case of doxxing and harassment soon after debut. (i don't mention Chris because she was fired).

People graduate from nijisanji to go work in hololive, sure, and that's illustrative, because for example there was a common opinion that Luna would work in HL for half a year at best, due to her long story of refusing to commit to anything, quitting and deleting channels, and where did that get you?

You can't even point to lower numbers or anything because it's not like Choco or Mel, who got fucked by youtube essentially banning content they got fired for, are going to quit any time soon.

If you say that regarding the last stream, clearly not a burnout. Right at the beginning she was like "I dunno what to do in this game", the MC server is not the biggest idea from hololive, especially when the streamer is lonely. She had way more fun playing MC in survival mode.
>Mori
Actually she truely seems to love working in hololive, she likes being with the other girls. Also big SCs don't really matter, I can't prove anything but if the company is smart all of their talent should earn a similar income regardless of how many SCs they get.

First off, Japanese companies are not smart as a rule, being plagued with archaic practices and all that, but the guaranteed wage is likely the only thing they have that's an actual equalizer in that sense.

Also, the amount of holostars that quit indicates that their income is significantly lower.
