That's about the only decision that was better than Myth. Everything else has just been comparable. There's no apparent talent discrepancy in either direction.

You got it backwards. Execution is fine, the issue is that the marketing team gave people what they said they wanted instead of what they actually wanted. Looking at Gen I, it's obvious that lolis are popular in the west even if fans deny it, yet Gen II didn't have a single loli. People say they want more diversity, but the people that ask for diversity generally aren't your actual audience, they're just virtue signalers looking for brownie points. They saw people talking about Rrats, but they didn't understand the nature of the joke.
The only success the marketing team really had was in filling the gaping self-loathing millennial and the ASMR niches that Gen I didn't fill.

But its not hard to see that they made a great choice in Clock on one end of the spectrum and on the other end, another great choice in Owl. Two very distinct appeals that were not necessarily satisfied by holoMyth.

That said, I'd still say overall talent is comparable so designs were the biggest improvement still.

The only people I think have settled in really well are Kronii and Mumei. Bae has yet to have her break out moment, Fauna isn't really doing enough to distinguish herself but she's okay, and Sana isn't bad but floundering hard.

I'd say EN in general has started to fall into irrelevance since April. Their views live and VOD (and revenue) are starting to decline hard. With the failure of Council and revelation of their mistreatment of IRyS, I can see them cutting EN branch because it is the most expensive spinoff branch of all the spin offs and soon they will be in the red and not worth the risk.

Not really. The first actual council collab was stiff as hell until the very end where it seemed like they went hot mic. That little bit at least showed they had some semblance of chemistry and camaraderie between them despite not showing any of it on screen. Even later ones haven't been much better. I see a lot of people say Bae is great at collabs, but in the big group ones I would say she has the most problems to fix. Something is really wrong with her sound settings and it seems like she's inaudible for both the audience and her genmates a lot of the time, which is why it seemed like she was being ignored for most of the Human Fall Flat collab
