yes, 7-inch and 10-inch records are still common. if you wanted to do reflect and its instrumental on a 7-inch you'd do it at 45 rpm with an american pressing house and it would sound kinda shitty. you'd also need a new, much more conservative master of it that i don't know if farhan is capable of, or the levels will be really low and you'll get a ton of surface noise and distortion. if you could get four different songs together you could probably justify a 10-inch, and americans would do a better job with that. but... if you thought your market had a high price tolerance, in her position i'd hope to get it done on 12-inch vinyl at toyokasei like mori's.

hello /mu/ friend. I just realized that I use ‘record’ and ‘cd’ interchangeably. CD for the medium, but record for the collection of songs. Singles seemed like they were still being released at record shops, like as recent as a few years ago? I could see a 4-track with Reflect and then instrumental like you said and even some remixes. Remixes or B-sides tend to be hit or miss (usually miss), but a banjo acoustic recording of the song could be neat.
It just feels as though there is a demand for merch, and yet no correlating supply. Seems odd when companies of this ilk usually jump at a chance to make money off of a rabid fanbase.
