I really hope she does more of these in the future, and I know I'm not alone because heimins are always asking for more zatsudans. On the one hand, it wasn't much different in content than the chatting she usually does during superchat readings, but the different environment really gives it a different vibe. The lack of voice feedback and BGM, the fact that she was in a space that's usually reserved for her private life unlike her streaming booth, not having youtube throwing a bunch of numbers at her as she streams, not having to worry about managing her OBS, not having to worry about the chat going so fast you can't read it, a lot of things add up to make her sound way more relaxed than usual, which in turn is probably what makes it feel more intimate.

Lets be real here, every reason you can think of for them growing distant is a negative one. If it's a business one then what, business is more important than friendship? For Suisei of all people? Kanata doesn't have a positive reason to one day just stop interacting with an old friend too. To be fair I don't want to implicate either of them. Sometimes it just happens. I think it's for the best, maybe I'm the minority but I think everyone won in the end. I don't know about KanaTowa but Hoshi no Kanata was pure yuribaiting back then especially the early days, I guess most people weren't here for that and doesn't help that they don't collab nor interact that much so I guess most people wouldn't know about it, especially since they're subs have doubled/tripled since those days. And maybe you should just stop reading or hanging in places that talk about it if it really annoys you, there was a time where I was annoyed with KanaCocofags (especially the JP fans) but I just kinda learned to ignore them since being annoyed at them won't really do anything.

I do know that HnK was pretty yuribaity but their last collab was almost a year ago so that's what I meant. I should probably ignore the shippers, you're right, it's just hard cause there's already fairly little english discussion about Kanata since her overseas community is relatively small so when I finally find a good discussion and it devolves into obnoxious shipping it annoys me.

This thread specifically is usually okay about it, but other threads tend to alternate between schizos, shipping and actual discussion, I don't use twitter to know what it's like exactly but I do know it has a decent amount of shipping and I've stopped interacting with the discord community pretty much entirely besides lurking for tls quite a while ago cause they were really annoying with the shipping. So if you've got another place for regular Kanata discussion that isn't schizo filled or spammed with shipping, I'm all ears.

I think it's precisely because there's been such a huge drought that people are overreacting to small interactions and such, not gonna lie I am guilty of it myself when I see "Kana○○" I always react but I don't really post it here or anywhere other than my own Twitter account where it doesn't bother anyone. But yeah it's just best to ignore and mentally filter out stuff that you don't want to see, it'll make your life much more peaceful. Also be the change you want to see, talk about stuff other than shipping shit. I'll start, I was kinda annoyed at how 12 Minutes played out but I really enjoyed seeing the "mystery" unfold with Kanata and her creating her own ending. Also I'm really looking forward to VARK, especially since I haven't seen any of the stuff that followed KanaMari's VARK except for miComet's which really left an impression on me.

That's a good attitude to have, I'll try just filtering it out more, and just to not leave any possible room for misunderstanding, I don't mind the fun shipping jokes and stuff like that; hell I'm pretty sure I made a few lighthearted jokes during the bath stream and lie detector stream since that was also relative to the stream, what I tend to dislike is when it gets really spammy.

Agreed with you on the 12 minutes stream, I already knew more or less the twists from other streams and while I don't think the game is that great, it was fun seeing her work stuff out.

I don't usually, I just mentioned it to say that there is very little worthwhile Kanata discussion outside of this thread here, I glanced at other threads a few times a while back and realised that nothing worthwhile is lost by not checking them.

The latter half was honestly getting pretty boring with the game going nowhere and Kanata clearly starting to lose interest, but not wanting to let go of getting the true end. Thankfully she saved the stream by going full psycho.

KanaCoco is just plain TeeTee that doesn't feel played up like NoeFure.
HnK is mostly a meme nowadays. They are friends that sing well. Putting them together makes "cool" music.
KanaTowa is a combo of two similar cute dorks, as much as I hate to use that word.

I don't particularily imagine any of them in an actual romantic relationship, neither the characters nor the roommates.

I didn't care much for 12 minutes as a game and never watched the other streams of it but I enjoyed Kanata make her way through it, the stream ending was pretty hilarious. Kanata really took Chara's lessons to heart. One more reason to look forward to Deltarune Ch2, she'll for sure do the weird route if someone gives her a hint.

I haven't seen any of VARK performances other than Kanata's so I am looking forward to KanaTowa's.

There's a reason people say that oshi generals are pretty much the only threads worth a damn in this board. The big generals like global can sometimes be alright, but it's in their very nature to oscillate a lot in quality, and you won't find a lot of Kanata discussion there. The katakana OP thread seems okay, but it's so slow I never feel like going there.
