I think part of why holo intervention doesn't sound appealing is the little concerts like this show how much a basic talk show format can be expanded. It is a lot of effort for Kiara but it really lets the guest shine.

I'm generally positive on the Holo-vention idea, but pulling it off is going to be so much effort, like she highlighted in the stream the other day.
Just to flush this out, let's put aside that Holotalk already has solid assets for everything in the current format, and assume that she can get 3-5 other mems to clear their calendar for one day to do the stream, along with practice time.
Once the technical / organizational details are done, she still has to identify a good topic, establish yab guardrails, and find a way to land a complex discussion in a way that everyone is laughing together, and not at somebody's expense.
And then there still will be tard-wrangling with fanbases at least once to deal with on twitter and probably bleedover into a future stream.

It's really more of a combination of how many individual viewers enter/leave the stream and how many people bother watching their vods. In many Kiara streams, most of the viewers are the loyal fanbase so there isn't a lot of entering/leaving that adds to views. There also won't be many who watch her VODs. Even on her higher-than-average live viewership streams, people who are gonna watch it are already there, so her VOD views aren't going to increase much either. She just doesn't pull much VOD views in general compared to the other girls, and this has been the case for much longer than just 3 weeks. She's also unfortunately not the only one with shadowbanned viewers. If I'm not mistaken Mori has had a huge number of members shadowbanned for months now.

The one thing with the Holo minecraft setup that pisses me off, especially since Kiara was pushing for the portal 6 months ago already, is how seemingly incompetent they are at running it after all this time.
