Despite the trolling, I have to say that HoloCouncil + IRyS is a great complimentary unit to HoloMyth based on the fact that the whole branch offers more unique and diverse range of talents.
No longer are we stuck with just 5 members, there are now 11 members to choose from, and we know that the number will stay that way for at least a year. This is enough time to help each member grow into their own strength (for Council) and cement their own legacies even further (for Myth).
Another advantage of the new addition is that HoloEN can now cover more time zones and audience, maximizing the numbers which numberfags can be schizos about. Those empty days without any HoloEN streams seem to be over now.
Speaking of numbers, it would be a shame to not mention the greatest box-pushing technique that Hololive is using right now, which is collabs. Since there are more members, unofficial collabs have become a common occurrence, especially in buff games like MC. This has affected not only EN side but also JP side as well. This is likely thanks to Council being a little less introverted like Myth. So far, the debut of Council has catapulted so many great moments for clippers, creating a feedback loop to the members themselves. As you may notice, the interaction is getting tons of traction and a new Hololive MC arc is starting to form.

Td;dr: HoloCouncil might be the renaissance that HoloEN needs regardless of the constant trolling and numberfagging. A perfect recipe to spice up an already good dish.

The thing is, we already know that the EN viewerbase in the best timeslot for EOPs caps out at around 70-100k viewers (debuts/costumes are the exceptions).
So 10 POVs for something like Among Us will be dividing that 70k and we already know Gura is going to get a lion's share (20k). The numbers aren't going to be eye-popping.
This isn't like JP where there's one centralized timeslot that can support up to 200-300k watching vtubers simultaenously, 150k just for HoloJP.
