I find that this kind of thing is common for dlc for puzzle games. They always think they have to one up themselves and throw in some puzzle that is so obtuse that it has to either be given to you by someone else or you have to guess it and get lucky.

I have missed I think 2 streams in 4 months, honestly her time slots are just that perfect for me. I currently work from home about 35/40 hours a week so there isn't much of a problem there. My socializing at this point is almost entirely formulated around Ame's streams as well. Hang out with my best mate and his family during the day on Saturdays and am home in time for Ame, game with the crew after supasunday, DND campaign on Monday nights which Ame almost never streams on. Ame is very honest and tells us everything. Her insecurities, her aspirations, her likes and dislikes, how she feels, etc. That makes every "negative thing" seem to overshadow the positive ones, but try to do the mental gymnastics and not fall into that spiral because it's false
They all have issues, but very few talk openly about it. It might seem like other vtubers "have a better time" just because they hide the negative side and force themselves. Ame is very passionate and crystal clear with how she feels. If she's having a good time, she shows it, and if she's uninterested, she shows it too. She organizes a lot of streams because she likes to try new things and we have more content than most. It's natural that some of those streams, like papers please or maybe dead space, just don't work sometimes.
And really, if you analyze it coldly in objective matters (what an stupid thing to say btw), recently we had very fun streams with new models, a guerrilla karaoke, and many streams where we all had a good time, like that member stream.

The issue with the inactive time zones is a combination of semantics and the refusal to abolish daylight saving time. Most people just casually say EST, CST, and PST for Eastern, Central, and Pacific time zones in America (oddly it seems Mountain time is usually just called MT), but technically during daylight saving time, they're EDT, CDT, and PDT. The S is "Standard" and the D is "Daylight."
It's needlessly confusing but that's what happens when you cling to outdated traditions based on flimsy justifications that aren't even true. It's made worse in this case by Japan not fucking around with the concept of time on Earth and just leaving it alone so the conversion from Japan time to a local time zone in an area that does DST moves back and forth by an hour twice a year.

Sorry, I didn't realize what you were looking at was the Hololive website. The times on the left side of that picture line up properly but the image on the right is wrong for GMT, since it's cropped from the schedule she posted to Twitter and YouTube. It would be right if it said BST (British Summer Time). JST in the image is correct because the American time zones are supposed to have the D instead of the S.
But yeah, I agree. AMT is way easier to remember, especially living in America where it will always line up with the same time for me.

It gets even more complicated when converting from UK times to US times because BST starts two weeks later than American Daylight times and ends a week earlier.
The whole situation is a mess. I don't know of anyone who likes it. It has negative consequences on sleep and productivity when the clocks move forward and it would actually be less effort to eliminate it than to keep doing it every year if it weren't for all the bureaucracy surrounding it.

On a real note. Ame using terms like AMT in her tweets and schedules can turn away people new to watching her and those who aren't familiar with using Hololive's website or the Teamup page. Since the delay is mostly likely because of the live2d plus the hololive app, I have been wondering if the reason why there's so much scuff (collabs with more than 3 of them and their live2d vanishing ramdonly) is maybe because the app works fine with JP members since all live in the same country, but it doesn't for EN because they live all over the world.

IF that's the reason, I really hope Cover can solve it or at least improve it since it happens so often and it have been a thing over a year now.

I know that now but in the first months I didn't want to think it was Cover's fault. It really baffles me that they haven't do much to resolve this issue, especially since it affects a very popular branch of theirs. Even their 3d is a bit wack honestly, it amazes how good Niji 3d is comparison.
