Do they take a higher cut from membership than superchats? Always felt weird to me how much effort some of them put into membership perks when it's so cheap compared to how much people give them in superchats for literally no particular reason.
Not that I'm complaining, I greatly enjoy the membership content I get, just curious if there's a monetary reason or if they just like doing it.
Though I guess even if there's not a monetary reason in terms of amount of money, it's a more stable and predictable income if you can keep your existing userbase engaged than superchats that can wildly fluctuate depending on how many memorable occasions there are in a month.
