Truth is, Twitch is just a better website for streaming specifically because they had decade of designing and catering to this specific subset of content creation while youtube is this frankenstein monster of random bullshit arranged into one.
For discoverability you need ALL of social media, Youtube, Twitch, Twitter, Tiktok, Instagram. For video/streaming, saving VODs on Youtube/Posting clips and streaming on Twitch seems to work out well for most, but people who stream on twitch take the audience from youtube, not the other way around
