Having narratives to follow is super important. There's too many girls to follow closely. Most people will only follow one or a handful, then catch clips or important collabs. Simple labels/narratives give you something to care about/root for even when it's a talent you don't know that much about. Even better if it has some relationship to your oshi. Hololive is like a SOL anime with 10 spins offs and a 9000 episode backlog.
