If like 75% of /vt/ thinks Irys has an ugly model probably 25-50% of us think Sana is ugly. I don't actually see it being constantly ragged on too much anymore, more like it's in theory a nice design but just needs a different outfit, while Irys is fundamentally messed up from odd/uncanny facial features (Sana's facial spacing is a little odd but it's very passable compared to Irys).

However yes Irys is now rapidly becoming a favorite here because her personality and stream quality is just THAT good. Sana's actually got the best personality/stream ambiance of any Gen2 by a mile I think, she easily can do an Irys or Nene maneuver where she's just so damn charming it really doesn't matter what she looks like. Mel and Choco used to be the big stars of Hololive at one point, once upon a time. Ayame streamed 220 times in her first year on the job or an avg of 4 a week, which isn't a huge workhorse but is still more than fucking Sana and Kronii are doing and maybe pacing Mumei.

None of the gen 1 ENs have flaked out this much as Council collectively already has in under 2 months. Something spectacularly different has occurred with council - maybe their management approach overall is a different school of thought. I don't recall Councils talking much about their managers so far but I would assume they've got a couple new people and maybe these ones are like "no no I insist you take as much time off as possible to avoid burnout" etc which is ignoring the fact that these early months are critical for their long-term outlook.

You heartless fucks need to realise it's the routines that fucking destroy you after they've gone. The death itself is a sharp pain that goes after a day or so, you're right, but it's the everyday routines that get under your skin. Like certain sounds you expect to hear at specific times of day. Later finding one of their toys hidden somewhere. Fur on your clothes and furniture. Making a rustling sound and expecting them to bolt up the hallway assuming it's food/treats. It's brutal if you grew up with them.

This is why the break is long imo. Considering her art skills, she was probably quite hiki and spent a lot of time inside with that dog.
